ZedSecure VPN is designed with privacy as our top priority. We do NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers or any third parties. All data remains exclusively on your device. We have no servers that collect user data, and we have no way to access your information.

2. Data Storage

All VPN configurations, server settings, connection preferences, and app data are stored locally on your device using encrypted storage (MMKV). We have absolutely no access to this data, and it never leaves your device. You maintain complete control and ownership of all your data.

3. Network Connections

When you connect to a VPN server:

• Your internet traffic is routed through the VPN server you configure
• We do not operate or control any VPN servers
• We do not log, monitor, or track your browsing activity
• Connection data remains exclusively between you and your configured server
• No connection logs or usage statistics are collected by us
• We cannot see what websites you visit or what data you transmit

4. Permissions

ZedSecure requires the following Android permissions to function:

• VPN Permission: Required to establish VPN connections and route your internet traffic securely
• Network State Access: To check your internet connectivity status and display connection information
• Camera (Optional): Only used for QR code scanning when you choose to import configurations via QR code
• Storage (Optional): Only used when you explicitly choose to import or export configuration files

These permissions are used solely for app functionality and are never used for data collection, tracking, analytics, or any other purpose beyond the stated functionality.

5. Third-Party Services

ZedSecure does not integrate with any third-party services whatsoever, including:

• No analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, etc.)
• No crash reporting services
• No advertising networks or ad trackers
• No social media integrations
• No cloud services or remote servers
• No data brokers or marketing platforms

The app is completely standalone and self-contained. Your data never touches any third-party service.

6. Device Information

The app may access your Android device ID only for local device identification purposes. This information:

• Remains exclusively on your device
• Is only used for local app functionality
• Is never transmitted to any external servers or services
• Can be viewed in the app Settings at any time
• Is not shared with any third parties

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• AES-256 encryption for sensitive data storage
• Secure local storage with encryption at rest
• No cloud synchronization or backup to external servers
• No remote access capabilities or backdoors
• All cryptographic operations performed locally on your device
• Regular security updates and patches

8. Children's Privacy

ZedSecure does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). The app is intended for general audiences and does not contain age-restricted content. Since we don't collect any data from anyone, this extends to children as well.

9. International Data Transfers

Since ZedSecure does not collect, store, or transmit any user data to any servers, there are no international data transfers. All data remains on your local device regardless of your geographic location. Your data never crosses any borders.

10. Data Retention

We do not retain any user data because we do not collect any user data. All information stored by the app remains on your device and is under your complete control. You can delete all app data at any time by uninstalling the application.

11. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. Any changes will be reflected in the app with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Your Rights and Control

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over your information:

• Full access to all your data at any time through the app
• Ability to export your configurations whenever you want
• Complete data deletion by simply uninstalling the app
• No need for data deletion requests since we don't store your data on our servers
• No account creation or registration required
• No email verification or personal information needed
• Complete anonymity - we don't know who you are

13. Legal Compliance

ZedSecure is designed to comply with major privacy regulations including GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), and other international privacy laws. Since we don't collect any personal data, most data protection obligations don't apply to our service.
